It is a great pleasure to share some news and projects from our Skål International Montreux Vevey 5 Club, based in Switzerland.

Founded over 90 years ago, it is the fifth club created worldwide, testifying to its rich history and its contin-uing commitment to the development of professional and cultural relations.

Our region, Montreux Vevey Rivera, based in the heart of Switzerland, is recognized worldwide for its cul-tural and natural heritage. It has also seen emblematic figures such as Charlie Chaplin, who settled in Vevey, and Freddie Mercury, whose legacy is still alive in Montreux. These personalities have helped to forge the international reputation of our region, which continues to attract visitors from all over the world.

In addition, our club is proud to maintain close collaboration with prestigious local hotel schools, including the Vatel school in Martigny, Glion on the Riviera, SHMS, HIM, Les Roches, the César Ritz in Le Bouveret, as well as other renowned institutions on the Vaudois and Valais Riviera. Together, we support excellence and innovation in a vital area for our region.

Finally, we invite all members of Skål International Suisse clubs who wish to join us, as well as those of oth-er international clubs, to join our general assembly which will be held on Thursday February 20, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. at the Astra hotel of Vevey (VD, Switzerland). This will be a unique opportunity to exchange, share and strengthen our global network.
